No video this week. I am sick as a dog and I am not ready "Mr. De Mille". But I won't let strep throat or whatever this is keep me down. Week 6 was an awesome week for me. I FINALLY got all the way through Plyometrics and I was able to keep my heart rate "in the zone" Only 3 times during plyo and kenpo did the little heart monitor start beeping 166, but even then, I did not collapse on to the floor or sit on the coach. Instead I just walked it out and pressed pause for a second...or 2 or 3
Now that I am doing pull ups with the bar (and chair) and I have more energy, I can make it upstairs to the bars and back down before Tony finishes the exercise. Tiresome you would think but it isn't. I like it. I get a little something extra by running up those steps to where my pull-up bars are.
I don't just love Kenpo X anymore, it is actually fun and the highlight of my week. I had to go home for Mother's Day on Friday afternoon so guess what I did? Yep, I took Kenpo X with me and on Saturday morning I was up rocking the house with my "spirit yells".
