Welcome to my December Winter Weight Control challenge. The purpose of this challenge is to establish and maintain healthy habit practices. Let's jump start your fitness journey, we can beat the statistics! This year you don't have to gain 5-10 pounds over the next Holidays.
We are going to stay healthy and fit throughout this holiday season. December's challenge is about habit reinforcements. No matter what your fitness level, you can participate in this challenge. The challenge has 3 components: 1. The exercise- The exercises are meant to be performed everyday. I have created two types of workouts; they are the same for 2 weeks and then I switch them up for the last 2 weeks. If you miss a day, no worries, you have another week to improve your consistency. High Intensity Training (HIT)- The HIT workouts focus on either the upper or lower body with a core exercise mixed in there. With HIT training, you will work intensely for 30 secs followed by a 30 sec rest. Go through the HIT workout 6 times. Boom 15 minutes, you're done Strength exercises- The strength exercises involve the core and the opposite muscle group from the HIT workouts. If done consistently, you get a full body workout for just a few minutes a day. 2. The healthy habit- The healthy habit spans two weeks. We are going to focus harder on creating consistency. Drinking water and eating vegetables are essential to a healthy lifestyle. If you can master the water and the veggie challenge, you are well on your way to turbo boosting your fitness journey. 3. Accountability- Please find me on The Internets and let me know that you are doing the challenge. You can check in with me everyday if you'd like. During "chapter 1" of my story, I found that having someone that I was accountable to helped motivate me. The funny thing is, she didn't even know she was my accountability partner. She was the aerobics instructor at the local gym. I barely knew her name, but once I started coming "in my head" I knew that she would notice if I missed a class and would possibly call me out about it. I didn't want that. To this day I have accountability partners, luckily they know it, but the point is, I still check in with people. Yes, even I get lazy and want to fall off track. Do the challenge, have fun with it, ask questions, FIND YOUR FITNESS A few notes: **If you do not accomplish every part of the challenge every day don't beat yourself up. Tomorrow you will just work a little harder at accomplishing the daily goal. **Do you know someone who you would like to do the challenge with?
