Welcome to my November Fall back to Fitness challenge. The purpose of this challenge is to get you back into healthy habit practices. Statistics show that most people gain 5-10 pounds over the next 2 months. The holiday eating must somehow make people forget all that they have worked for throughout the year.
Well not this year. This year we are going to go against the grain, we are going to fight back. We are going to stay healthy and fit throughout this holiday season.
November's challenge is all about consistency.
No matter what your fitness level you can participate in this challenge. The challenge has 3 components:
1. The exercise- The exercise is meant to be performed everyday. The repetitions are low so you don't get burned out. Feel free to do them all at once, or break them up throughout the day. The choice is yours.
2. The healthy habit- The healthy habit is meant to get your body use to consistent healthy actions. Eventually your habit will turn into a lifestyle (at least that is my goal).
3. The mantra- The mantra is just a little added "something something" to celebrate your accomplishments. It may seem silly at first, but the more you celebrate, the more you will feel good about your decision to get back on track. I personally take the time to celebrate even the smallest victories in my life. Good things deserve a little pat on the back.
A few notes:
**If you do not accomplish every part of the challenge every day don't beat yourself up. Tomorrow you will just work a little harder at accomplishing the daily goal.
