…or Perfectly Imperfect.
Who knows? The point is, I am not perfect and that is perfectly ok. lol.
I took his picture to see what I looked like in a fancy bra.
Some may see chubby abs or no abs at all.
Some may see furry arm pits or deodorant lines.
Some may see tiny boobs or unflattering tan lines.
Do you know what I see?
I see an imperfectly perfect person.
I fight, I struggle, I cry (rarely), I survive and I live.
Most importantly, I live authentically true to myself.
Social media experts say that I shouldn't post this picture online. It is so horrible and not the best version of myself.
I say it is perfect because it is the TRUTH!!!
This is me, right now: 180lbs, 26% body fat, inconsistent with my training, diet all over the place, training clients, building a business, re-collecting with family, being spiritually grounded and proud as heck that i found a really cute bra that fits wonderfully.
I'm not perfect! I'm far from perfect. I'm not that perfect snapshot in time with the halo filter. I'm not 15% body fat all of the time. I'm not always avocado and kale.
But you know what I am? Happy! In love with life!
My training will get back on track soon. Eventually I will stop eating all of the cakes, donuts and sweets and start focusing on my clean eating, but not because I don't want to get fat or want to show off my abs, but because clean eating physically makes me feel better and is a part of my life.
Until then, I will enjoy this part of the journey and appreciate the body that I'm in right now. Today.
The bottom line is: You don't have to be "perfect". Who cares? Do what feels right for you, right now, in this moment.
